Welcome to The Loci Club under the RICE DESIGN umbrella. The Loci Club is a fun, creative space where children can explore their imagination, discover new artistic skills, and express themselves through art.
Our after-school art programme is designed to give children the freedom to experiment, create, and have fun while learning along the way. Through exciting, hands-on projects, children are encouraged to try new techniques, develop their own ideas, and build confidence in their creativity.
Rice Design, is a creative arts company specialising in private commissions, professional artwork and public art.
Rice Design is the parent company behind The Loci Club, bringing professional artistic experience and creative practice into the school environment. Through The Loci Club, Rice Design aims to give children the opportunity to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills and discover where their imagination can take them.
We believe creativity should extend beyond the classroom. Children should be encouraged to experiment, develop their own ideas and, where appropriate, have the opportunity to share their work with others.
Children involved with The Loci Club have already achieved recognition in creative competitions, including the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year competition. Achievements such as these demonstrate what children can accomplish when they are given encouragement, guidance and the opportunity to develop their artistic talents.
At Rice Design, we believe success is about more than winning competitions. We celebrate every achievement — whether that means learning a new technique, completing a challenging project, developing an original idea or simply having the confidence to try something for the first time.
Simple for Schools who want to Join the Family
There is no cost to the school. We simply ask the school to provide a suitable space where we can run the club.
We take care of the organisation and delivery of the sessions, allowing the school to offer an additional creative activity to its pupils without the need to manage the programme.
Just £10 Per Session
Parents pay £10 per child, per session, payable across the school term.
This keeps the club accessible while allowing us to provide professionally delivered workshops and the materials required for each session.
Our aim is simple: we bring the creativity, the expertise and the workshops — the school provides the space.
It’s an easy way for schools to offer children an exciting opportunity to explore their creativity, learn new skills and develop their confidence through art.
